Dell’s Pink Laptops

More and more computer companies are offering their laptops in pink (as well as several other colors). Dell, for example has three different series of laptops which all come in Flamingo Pink: the XPS M1330 and M1350, the Studio 15 and 17, and the Inspiron 1420 and 1525. All are high performing, lightweight and very stylish.

Sony’s Pink Laptops

Sony’s fashionable VAIO line of laptops comes in several shades of pink: Glossy Cosmopolitan Pink (the CR series), Sunset Pink (the SR series), Rosé Pink (the TZ series), Textured Cherry Blossom Pink (the NR series), and Blush Pink (the TZ series). They range from ultra lightweight to lightweight and all except the VGN-NR460E/P come with a built-in camera and microphone.

ASUS’ Pink Laptops

ASUS only offer two of their notebooks in pink, although one of them, the S6FM-1P029C, was a limited edition, but you can still find it online. The Eee PC 2G Surf laptop in Blush Pink is readily available though, and it is amazingly small and light with a 7” screen and a total weight of just about 2 lbs. The keyboard is full size though, and in spite of its small size, it is a fully functional laptop.

Affinity Technologies offer their ZT Notebook in Pink, there is the MSI PR200 Notebook in pale pink, and at Q2 designs, you can configure your own pink laptop in Capri Pink, Cotton Candy Pink or Fuchsia Pink, or if you rather buy one that’s already configured, Target sells one of Q2’s notebook in what they call Fusion Pink (I call it Fuchsia).

The sad truth is that you can’t buy a pink laptop from Apple. You wonder why, since they’re so aware of design in all other areas, but that’s the way it is. The good news is that there are companies who will customize them for you! At Colorware, you can get a MacBook, MacBook Pro or iMac in any shade of pink you want! They show a really cool iMac with a fuchsia stand and carnation pink screen. Cute!
